Challenge Yourself:
Once a month, a basic scenario will be put up that anyone can respond to. It's our hope that you will find this to be challenging, enjoyable and insightful. There will be some where it will be asked that we get a specific length response, with notes about what we're looking to see the most in this, but these scenarios will be set that you can choose a character's side to write from or for, rather then taking the obvious if you don't wish to.
For an example, if I gave a scenario where a woman was running down the street screaming for help on a dark night, you could be the person chasing her, or a citizen that hears her cries, an animal flying overhead. You wouldn't have to be the girl.
Just a tip, for thoughts, italics are good to use or something like - 'I can't believe this,' she thought to herself. Actions, description, form are often written normally while dialog is found in quotations. I also know there are some writer's out there that do little asides for their characters, those are often found in brackets like - (If she ever had the timeā¦)
